Emergency Care System Response to COVID-19 During the New Year’s Holiday Period

Here is the information regarding emergency services at medical institutions during the New Year’s holiday period.
Response to COVID-19 (Fever and Cold-like Symptoms)

1.Medical Care

  • As many medical institutions are closed during the New Year’s holiday period, care will be centralized at emergency holiday clinics.
  • If you have symptoms such as a fever, a sore throat, a headache, diarrhea, sluggishness or if your sense of smell or taste is impaired, you must first call the medical institution before seeing a doctor; they may specify a time and give instructions to follow for your visit to keep you away from other patients.

2.Testing

  • A testing system is guaranteed for instances where, after an exam, it is determined that you need to be tested for COVID-19.

3.Consultation

If your family doctor or closest medical institution is not offering exams, or if you don’t know where to go for a consultation or exam, the Medical Exam and Consultation Center, open 24/7, can help you.
