Certificate of At-Home Recovery

1. Those who have been diagnosed with a new coronavirus infection after September 26, 2022(the 4th year of Reiwa) and have been recuperating at home.

(1) Those who are subject to notification of occurrence

  • Please use the medical treatment certificate of My HER-SYS.
  • 【[Reference] Displaying the medical certificate on My HER-SYS"
  • If you cannot use My HER-SYS, please use the documents (*) which show the results of PCR tests performed at medical institutions.
  • No treatment certificate in paper form will be issued.
  • [Reference] Those who are subject to notification since September 26, 2022 (the 4th year of Reiwa)
    1. Those aged 65 and over
    2. Those who need hospitalization *Even if hospitalization is not necessary immediately at the time of diagnosis, it also includes cases where the doctor diagnosed that there is a possibility that hospitalization may be necessary due to underlying diseases.
    3. Those who are at risk of aggravation and need administration of new corona therapeutic drugs, or those who are at risk of aggravation and need new oxygen administration due to new corona infection
    4. Pregnant women

(2)Those who are not subject to notification of occurrence

  • Treatment certificate of My HER-SYS is not available.
  • No treatment certificate in paper form will be issued.

2. Those who were diagnosed with a new coronavirus infection before September 25, 2022 (The 4th year of Reiwa) and were treated at home

  • Please use the medical treatment certificate of My HER-SYS. (For information on how to display the medical certificate on My HER-SYS, please refer to "[Reference] Displaying the medical certificate on My HER-SYS" above.)
  • Those who have not been tested and have been diagnosed with the new coronavirus infection based on clinical symptoms (so-called "deemed positive persons") cannot be certified by My HER-SYS.
  • If you cannot use My HER-SYS, please use the documents(*) which show the results of PCR tests performed at medical institutions.
(*)Examples of documents that can be confirmed as corona positive
  • Documents that show the results of PCR tests and antigen tests conducted at medical institutions
  • Prescription and instructions for treatment of corona
  • Test results of the clinical laboratory that conducts PCR tests, etc.
  • Reception results of the health follow-up center (distribution of test kits/positive person registration center, Shiga Prefecture COVID-19 report post-diagnosis counter), etc. (Including those by SMS, etc.)
  • It is also possible for the Shiga Prefecture Home Recovery Support Center to issue a Certificate of At-Home Recovery.
    If you wish to have a certificate issued, please submit an Application for the Certificate of At- Home Recovery by mail to the address below. (You are responsible for shipping costs to the address below.)
    If there are any deficiencies in the submitted documents, a confirmation call may be made.

Guidance on food support

Those who are asymptomatic, those who have passed 24 hours after their symptoms have subsided
From September 7, 2020 (the 4th year of Reiwa), those who have been symptom-free for 24 hours or who are asymptomatic are allowed to go out for minimum necessary only for daily life, such as shopping for groceries.
Therefore, please note that those who fall under the above conditions are not eligible for food assistance.
*We highly appreciate your cooperation such when going out, "1. Minimize contact with people", "2. Do not use public transportation", and "3. Wear a mask when going out or in contact with people" to prevent infection.
